As a comic there are festivals and clubs that I’ve always wanted to perform in/at and when I’ve gotten to do them, I consider kind of milestones in my standup career. Some of them are small, while others seem utterly unattainable. Its hard to navigate through the entertainment business sometimes and understand how to get booked somewhere you think you might do well. You hope that booker will take a chance on you and put you up. I think there might be some variation at all levels in your career, but I’m not totally sure.
Tomorrow night, January 24th, I get to do something that I’ve wanted to do for a while, its feels really nice and I consider it a kind of marker (not up and not down), but a dot on this linear trail of fun. I’m super excited and grateful to headline the San Francisco Punchline. If you happen to be in the Bay Area, please come on down and se the show, I promise to entertain the shit outta you!
