Ian, just wanted to say that I saw you today at Capital Trans Pride, and you were just the BEST. I'm fifty-six - I just came out as trans a little over a year ago. Today was my first Pride event ever. I was so moved and your gift of laughter was the best part. You had me laughing through tears of recognition. 
I was very proud to be Trans today. I was very proud of you, too. You do us all a service.

Hello, I love your stand up, so just joined your Fan list, to make sure I know all about it if ever you tour the UK!  However I was quite surprised that one of the questions on the fan list page was gender, male or female? I have to say your fan base is the last place I’d expect to be asked to identify my gender? Saw you in Calgary, laughed till it hurt. Your story reminded me of when I was dating an attractive lady who, when after the appropriate number of dates had been had, (3, I'm old fashioned and believe in getting to know you before taking out the U-Haul), and things were about move to the next stage when she announced that she, "Did not recognize her female anatomy." I've never had to pick mine out of a line-up, so far they've never been arrested without my prior knowledge. It was highly refreshing to see watch you knowing that you have embraced your identity and are still have a wonderful sense of humour about life. The bit where you and the 'girls' go to Safeway had me squealing. Thanks for the laughs you're wonderful. By the way, nothing happened, no one enjoys a sword fight.
